Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley.
• The collaboration between WWE and TNA has featured crossovers throughout 2024. This trend began in January when Jordynne Grace entered the Royal Rumble.
In an interview with ComicBook, Jade Cargill was asked about her dream opponent. Without hesitation, she named the TNA Knockouts World Champion:
“I would love to work Jordynne Grace. I think she’s amazing in the ring and we were both like two beefy women; I think that would be a great, great match if we did that.”
Cargill also talked about her recent experience on a WWE tour in Japan and expressed her eagerness to return:
“We actually just came back from Japan. I’m a little tired, I’m still on Japan time right now, but I would love to go back and experience that yet again because last summer on my hiatus, I had wanted to work in Japan. So, I actually got the experience this year. I was very elated about it. So I would love to go back to Japan. Oh my gosh, the fan base there!”

• During the WWF Attitude Era, Chyna made history by becoming the only woman to win the Intercontinental Championship. She defeated Jeff Jarrett at No Mercy 1999 to win the Title.
During an interview on Foundation Radio, Ripley was asked if she’d like to test herself by challenging Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship.
Here’s what the former Women’s World Champion said:
“Yeah. I’d be stupid to say no. I haven’t seen much of that lately. I saw it maybe a few months back when I was beating up all the guys. I would absolutely love that.
That would be a real historic moment. I get to follow in amazing steps like Chyna. It’d be a step for the women’s evolution.
We’d be taking over that a little bit more where we’re seeping into the men’s division and showing them what the women can do.”
