On this day in Old School Pro Wrestling history on November 26, 1995, WCW aired their first ever World War III PPV LIVE from the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia.
The absolute highlight & main event of this PPV was the 60-man 3 ring battle royal for the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Title.
Future World War III PPVs (1996-1998) would only have the number one contender spot on the line for the winner of the 60-man battle royal.

– “Dusty Rhodes Guys” Of WWE Revealed
During a Q&A session on Twitter, former WWE Superstar and current ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes was asked if he’s going to make a surprise appearance at Starrcade 2017.
Cody said no, but noted that he’s going to be rooting for his brother Goldust and Dusty Rhodes guys – Tye Dillinger & Kevin Owens. Owens later thanked Cody on Twitter for referring to him as a Dusty guy.

– JBL Isn’t Happy With WWE Leaving Him Off The Grand Slam Champions List
As seen on this week’s episode of Raw, Roman Reigns won the Intercontinental Title and became the latest WWE Superstar to become a Grand Slam Champion. WWE then posted a list of Grand Slam Champions on their website.
