Given his impressive career, it’s certain Jeff Hardy will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day, and he recently discussed this possibility.
The Hardy Boyz, Jeff and Matt, have achieved a lot as a tag team, especially known for their roles in the iconic TLC matches. They’ve won numerous Tag Team Titles across various promotions worldwide.
A few years back, Jeff Hardy declined an offer for a solo WWE Hall of Fame induction, a fact confirmed by Matt Hardy, who mentioned that WWE had indeed approached Jeff for the honor.
In an interview on Busted Open Radio, Jeff reiterated that he turned down WWE’s Hall of Fame offer because they weren’t including Matt in the induction. Jeff emphasized that he would only accept a Hall of Fame induction if both he and his brother are honored together.
Here’s what the former WWE Champion said:
“When I denied it the first time, it didn’t feel right going in there without Matt. I mean I cried after that phone call. I was just thinking about all the really cool moments I’ve given to the pro-wrestling world. I’m so proud of it, but it didn’t feel right at all. So, I just wanted to wait.
If I did do this, I’m definitely doing that with Matt, you know. It’ll be a Hardy Boyz thing. I just want one ring, I don’t want two rings.”
