AEW’s Jeff Jarrett believes that former WWE star Bobby Lashley would be a “fantastic” addition to the AEW roster.
On his “My World” podcast, Jarrett praised Lashley’s growth and athleticism, reflecting on their history together in TNA.
“Bobby, in his career, has come a long way, and it goes without saying,
I was a huge fan of his going way back, the TNA days, we’ll call it the Impact/Anthem days, and certainly today.
But, man, he would be a fantastic addition, I’ll say that.
Super athletic, looks great, carries himself like a champion, and from bell to bell, he can get it done.”
This comes amid speculation that MVP and former Hurt Business members Lashley and Shelton Benjamin might join AEW,
with MVP filing a trademark for “The Hurt Syndicate.”
Both MVP and Lashley’s WWE contracts expired over the summer, while Benjamin has been active on the independent circuit.
