• Reacting to the Royal Rumble 2025 PLE, Jesse Ventura tweeted:
“Fantastic Royal Rumble. Truly a great show. Congratulations to Charlotte Flair and Jey Uso. Tremendous performances. Though I was pulling for my guy Dominik Mysterio. Now there is real star power.”
Ventura was last seen on WWE TV on the January 25th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he called the Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus match for the Intercontinental Championship.
During his commentary, Ventura took a shot at the IQ of the Steiner family, saying Bron must think that 2 + 2 = 5, thus making a reference to the famous Steiner Math promo from TNA.
This led to Scott Steiner tweeting the following:
“Jesse Ventura seems to forget that I attended a highly educated university next time I see him there’s a 141 2/3 chance that I will slap him like a b*tch… his navy seal training can’t help him.”
• Jey Uso shocked the world by winning the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match by eliminating John Cena in the end. After the match, Jey said the following during an interview with Jackie Redmond:
“I bet y’all ain’t see that coming. There’s another thing coming you ain’t gon’ see coming though Uce – me main eventing WrestleMania and becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion.”
Later during the Royal Rumble post show, Jey said he’d like to face Gunther for the World Title one more time:
“I would like one more crack at Gunther, and I really feel like I can beat Gunther.”
Roman Reigns is very happy for Jey, his former Right Hand Man in The Bloodline, and tweeted the following after the match:
