Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman kicked off tonight’s SmackDown. Heyman was doing the introduction and Jey Uso interrupted.
Jey called out Solo for stabbing his older brother in the back last week. Heyman then said this is not Solo’s fault, this is Jimmy Uso’s fault.
Heyman said Roman Reigns wants to groom Jey for the next Tribal Chief and Jimmy has known about this since day one and he has resented Jey for this ever since.
Paul then said The Usos no longer exist, but Jey will bring home gold tonight, as Roman has arranged a United States Championship match for Jey against Austin Theory for tonight.
Tonight begins Jey’s road to becoming the Heavyweight Champion. Heyman then said:
“When the time is right, Jey Uso, you will become The Tribal Chief.”
Jey accepted the US Title challenge. Heyman then offered a handshake and Jey said he’ll get back to him on that.
