• Legendary manager Jim Cornette was asked who is the worst wrestler ever in his opinion.
Cornette picked former WWF Champion and WrestleMania 6 main eventer The Ultimate Warrior.
Here’s what Cornette said about the 2014 WWE Hall of Famer on his podcast:
“The Ultimate Warrior. Is he the worst wrestler of all time that actually got big and made money? He never had a good match and was always the sh*ts at both promos and in ring.
But because he made all that money, because Vince had the fetish over bodybuilders, does that qualify him to be removed from the list of world’s worst wrestlers because he made millions of dollars at it?”
Current Intercontinental Champion Gunther recently took a shot at The Ultimate Warrior as well:
“Those are the real dark ages. He’s a showman. He’s not an athlete, not a professional wrestler, he’s a showman.
Now, everybody knows why I have to be the one to keep this title for the longest time in history to wash its reputation clean and set it to a new standard.”
• Hollywood Actor Adam Sandler is a well-known WWE fan. During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Sandler said he’s a lifelong wrestling fan, but he hasn’t watched much in the last year and has been out of the loop.
Adam then asked Chris if there’s something he needs to know. Chris said Roman Reigns has been the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for over 3 years now.
