2. Heel Turn At NXT Tapings, New NXT Title Feud Revealed
WWE taped upcoming epsiodes of NXT TV this week. During this set of tapings, a lot of noteworthy things happened – including a heel turn and new NXT Championship feud kicking off. Below are the important things that happened:
– Tommaso Ciampa will be out of action for a while as his injury is a lot worse than originally expected.
– No Way Jose returned to help Roderick Strong and Kassius Ohno fight off SAnitY.
– Hideo Itami destroyed Oney Lorcan in a match after he delivered three back-to-back GTS on Lorcan. Kassius Ohno then came out to stop Itami, but Itami turned heel by slapping Ohno.
– NXT Championship feud between Bobby Roode & Roderick Strong began.
– Ember Moon returned from injury and defeated Peyton Royce.
– NXT Tag Team Championship feud between The Authors of Pain and Heavy Machinery began.
– Possible NXT Women’s Championship feud between Asuka & Nikki Cross teased.
– Kassius Ohno & Aleister Black faced each other in the final match of the tapings.
