• John Cena Confirms He’s Returning To WWE
WWE Legend John Cena was recently interviewed by Chris Van Vliet. In this interview, Cena confirmed that he’s returning to WWE.
Chris asked Cena the following question:
“You are always dressed so well every time I see you and I appreciate that. When was the last time you wore jean shorts?”
Cena replied:
“The last time was not this WrestleMania but last WrestleMania. I can tell you this, I very much look forward to wearing jorts again, it’s been too long.”
Chris then asked if Cena’s return is a matter of when and not if, and the 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion replied:
“You are absolutely correct. Yep”
Cena is expected to return to WWE next month and is rumored to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in the main event of SummerSlam 2021.
Cena’s last WWE appearance was on Night 2 of WrestleMania 36 on April 5, 2020, where he lost to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Fun House match.
