8. Two Title Matches Set For Next Week’s Raw
On tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, “The Boss” Sasha Banks asked Charlotte for her singles rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship. Charlotte agreed and removed her robe acting like the Title match was now.

But then she stopped and announced Sasha will get her singles Title rematch next week on Raw. Then a brawl broke out which ended with Sasha clearing the ring.

In a backstage segment on the show, The Brian Kendrick told TJ Perkins that he won’t be the Cruiserweight Champion for much longer. It was later announced that TJ Perkins will defend the Cruiserweight Championship against The Brian Kendrick on next week’s episode of Raw (this will be a rematch of their Clash of Champions 2016 Title bout). Speaking of TJ Perkins, he made his Raw debut tonight and defeated Tony Nese.

So the following two matches have been announced for next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw:

Raw Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte (c) vs. Sasha Banks

Cruiserweight Championship Match: TJ Perkins (c) vs. The Brian Kendrick

7. Cesaro & Sheamus vs. The New Day For The Raw Tag Team Titles To Take Place At A Future Date

Raw General Manager Mick Foley addressed the situation between Cesaro & Sheamus on Raw after their match #7 ended in a no-contest at Clash of Champions 2016. Foley noted that both men deserve a Championship opportunity and they will get it, but at the same time. Foley noted that they’ll face the winners of the New Day – Luke Gallows/Karl Anderson Raw Tag Team Title match, which took place after this segment.

The New Day entered tonight’s Raw as Raw Tag team Champions for 400 days. They faced Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson in another rematch for the Tag Team Titles of the Red Brand. The New Day managed to knock off The Club members yet again and retained their Raw Tag Team Titles. It should be noted that Kofi Kingston got busted open during the end and could be seen bleeding.

They will now defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against the team of Cesaro & Sheamus, as noted earlier by Raw General Manager Mick Foley.
