1. “CM Punk’s biggest mistake was signing that paper to fight me” – Mickey Gall
During a recent appearance on “Bischoff on Wrestling” podcast, UFC fighter Mickey Gall discussed his UFC 203 fight with Eric Bischoff. For those who don’t know, Gall beat former WWE wrestler CM Punk in a welterweight bout (170 lbs) at UFC 203.
Bischoff asked Gall if he thought CM Punk had developed any skills that concerned him. Below is what Gall said:
“Not particularly. I know what two year guys are like. He’s a two year fighter. He said his biggest mistake was trudging across that ring aggressively. I think his biggest mistake was signing that paper to fight me. He fought the wrong guy. If he was going to do anything or show anything off he had the wrong guy. I beat him in all aspects.”
