23. WWE Interested In Olympic Gold Medalist? Update On Heat Between Ric Flair & Vader
During a recent interview with Calgary Sun, Olympic Gold medalist Erica Wiebe revealed that WWE was interested in signing her and said the following:
“Man, literally the day after I got home from Rio there were a half dozen people who told me there were two WWE talent agents in Rio and they said, ‘We need to talk to Erica Wiebe’. They gave them my info. It was funny, I was like trying to beat them off.”
We recently noted how former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vader wasn’t happy with Ric Flair and tweeted the following:
You’re Fu*ked You Big Fat A$$hole. Calling Me Out FatBoy LISTEN TO MY PODCAST WEDNESDAY!!!! This message is for the very classy Ric Flair PIG
Flair addressed this situation on his podcast and said the following:
“We’re great. Awesome. It is all worked out and I was frustrated because I had no idea what was going on, but I know he is very ill and I think he’s been given an estimated time of a length of his life, which he had the same problems that Blackjack Mulligan had, which obviously caught up with Blackjack so hopefully the time frame is longer than I’ve heard.
I’ve always enjoyed working with Van, never had a problem with him before. I’m fine, I’m happy with him, we had a nice talk and everything is cool.”
