• WWE Legend John Cena is among the six individuals being honored with the 2024 Silver Anniversary Award by the NCAA at their January convention.

This award recognizes individuals 25 years after the conclusion of their college sports careers.

The recipients, including Nicole Aunapu Mann, Jerry Azumah, Shannon Boxx, Misty May-Treanor, and Cindy Parlow Cone, were nominated by administrators from their undergraduate institutions.

The awards will be presented on January 10th during the NCAA Convention Welcome and Awards Presentation in Phoenix, with the selection process overseen by a panel of former student-athletes and representatives from NCAA member schools and conferences.

WWF Legend Mike Rotunda aka IRS (father of Wyatt) recently revealed that WWE placed Wyatt on a Legends Contract, typically reserved for former stars, with all proceeds directed towards Wyatt’s four children.

Rotunda acknowledged WWE’s considerable assistance, recognizing their efforts in aiding the family during this difficult time.

Here’s what Mike said during an interview with Wrasslin Talk:

“I have to give WWE credit. They’ve done awesome helping our family out with a lot of different stuff. They put Windham on a Legends Contract and all the proceeds go to… Windham has four children. Luckily, we have them.”
