• John Cena Shows Off His Physique On His 44th Birthday

One of the biggest names of The Ruthless Aggression Era (2002-2007) and THE single biggest name of The PG Era (2008-now), “The Doctor of Thuganomics” John Cena celebrates his 44th birthday today.

John Cena used to be a World Wrestling Federation developmental wrestler and wrestled in the WWF developmental territory OVW Ohio Valley Wrestling (similar to what NXT is now) from 2000 to 2002.

During this time, he also wrestled several dark matches before WWF TV Tapings, but only debuted on television after the WWF/WWE name change.

Cena is now considered a WWE Legend & a future Hall of Famer. He’s also a 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

On the occasion of his 44th birthday, Cena showed off his physique by posting the following:

“The world knows @LastWeekTonight John Oliver & myself share a birthday & a disciplined passion for fitness. Another year passes & I continuously struggle to keep up. Both now 44 we’ve agreed to motivate each other by posting our progress. His will be posted on my IG #JohnVJohn”

• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 60th birthday of Old School Wrestling Legend Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy.

He’s mostly remembered as a member of The Fabulous Freebirds and got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame with other Freebirds (Michael Hayes, Buddy Roberts & Jimmy Garvin) in 2016.

Terry Gordy was last seen on WWF TV in 1996-1997, under a mask as The Executioner, feuding with the legendary Undertaker.
