John Cena Trying To Get Into A Big Match At WrestleMania 34 – FastLane 2018 Plan Revealed

John Cena

As seen on this week’s episode of Raw, 16 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena revealed that he’ll appear on tonight’s episode of SmackDow Live in order to try to get himself involved in something at WrestleMania 34.

Below is what WWE posted about “Free Agent” John Cena appearing on SmackDown Live:

John Cena comes to SmackDown LIVE looking for a WrestleMania opportunity

“After seeing his Road to WrestleMania take a detour at WWE Elimination Chamber due to his ouster from the bout at the hands of Braun Strowman, John Cena somberly reflected on his legendary career on Raw Talk while seemingly turning the gears in his head, looking for another opportunity to perform on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Monday night on Raw, Cena defiantly claimed that he will never give up in his quest to make it to New Orleans. The free agent declared that he would be heading to SmackDown LIVE tonight to take advantage of The Land of Opportunity that Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan have created. But just how does Cena intend to make sure his Road to WrestleMania runs through SmackDown LIVE?”

Current plan is for Cena to challenge Men’s Royal Rumble 2018 winner Shinsuke Nakamura at FastLane 2018 with Nakamura’s WWE Title match opportunity at WrestleMania 34 on the line.

If Cena wins that match, then he’ll get the opportunity to go after his 17th World Title at WrestleMania 34 in a match with AJ Styles (if he remains WWE Champion after FastLane 2018).
