Below are some top WWE news stories following tonight’s SmackDown:
• According to Sean Ross Sapp, LA Knight was scheduled to be a part of the contract signing segment for Fastlane between John Cena / AJ Styles and Jimmy Uso / Solo Sikoa.
LA was booked to make the save for Cena after Jimmy & Solo were beating him up.
However, this plan was canceled when LA tested positive for COVID-19 just before the show and had to leave the building.
Knight was also scheduled to team up with Cena in the dark main event after SmackDown.
It looks like it’s going to be Cena & Knight vs. The Bloodline at Fastlane.
