Below are the results from tonight’s post-Survivor Series edition of WWE SmackDown, including updates on Saturday Night’s Main Event and John Cena’s final opponent.
– Tonight’s SmackDown kicked off with Drew McIntyre arriving at the arena. Nick Aldis stopped him from entering and said he’s still suspended. As Drew was leaving, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes attacked McIntyre. Rhodes then came to the ring and requested Aldis to reinstate McIntyre. Cody said Drew is a cockroach and he wants to stomp that cockroach for attacking him in his tour bus.

– Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano were getting ready for a United States Championship match, but Carmelo Hayes informed them that he’s next.
– Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, together known as The Terror Twins, have reunited and they will face Aleister Black and Zelina Vega next week.
– Ilja Dragunov (c) def. Carmelo Hayes to retain the United States Championship
Tommaso Ciampa attacked Hayes during the match when the referee was distracted. Ilja saw the replay after the match and wasn’t happy about it.
– Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss celebrated their WarGames victory and said it was a great night for them.
– LA Knight said defeating John Cena will cement his legacy. He’ll do whatever it takes to defeat Gunther tonight.
– Alexa Bliss def. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane
During the match, Charlotte Flair took out Asuka at ringside. Nia Jax and Lash Legend attacked Charlotte & Alexa after the match. Nia and Lash targeted Kairi, which led to Asuka attacking them. Nia and Lash attacked them too. Asuka managed to escape with Kairi, as Nia and Lash posed with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.
– Cody Rhodes met Oba Femi and NXT Champion Ricky Saints in Nick Aldis’ office. Cody revealed that the winner of tomorrow’s NXT Title match between Ricky and Oba at Deadline will face him at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
– WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill def. Alba Fyre
During the match, Giulia (accompanied by Kiana James) attacked Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green.
– Nick Aldis booked Ilja Dragunov vs. Tommaso Ciampa for the United States Championship for next week. Ilja said Fraxiom can have whatever is left of Ciampa after that. My Family Tree had a face-off with Ilja.
– Michin confronted WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill while defending B-Fab backstage.
– While addressing Uncle Howdy, Solo Sikoa indirectly mentioned Bray Wyatt (while pointing up) and said:
“Everything that was his…that’s now yours will become mine.”
Wyatt Sicks showed up and brawled with the MFTs. The Wyatts got the upper hand.

– Gunther said he will win tonight and will retire John Cena.
– Nick Aldis booked Bayley vs. Sol Ruca for Saturday Night’s Main Event.
– Aleister Black and Zelina Vega sent a message to The Terror Twins.
– Gunther def. LA Knight via submission to win The Last Time Is Now tournament
The Ring General will face John Cena in the 17-time World Champion’s retirement match on December 13th at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
After the match, Gunther looked into the camera and said the following to John Cena:
“You finally and definitely will give up. You’re gonna tap out.”
