John Cena’s Replacement On SmackDown Live Revealed

As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, former NXT Champion Bobby Roode made his main roster debut on the blue brand and went on to defeat Aiden English in his debut. In the post-match interview with Renee Young, Roode announced that SmackDown Live is officially GLORIOUS now. You can watch it below:

It should be noted that Roode was originally scheduled to take Baron Corbin’s spot as a top heel on SmackDown Live, but Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that Roode is now going to be a babyface and will occupy Cena’s empty top babyface spot on the blue brand. Meltzer also noted that how it’s going to be difficult for him to be a heel with his GLORIOUS entrance (because it’s a complete babyface thing).

The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship comeback tour just earned some serious credibility after the titleholder reached a very impressive milestone.

The self-proclaimed A-lister shared on his Instagram account that he has passed WWE Hall of Famer The Ultimate Warrior to move into sixth place on the list of longest-reigning Intercontinental Champions. With seven title reigns that add up to 433 total days and counting with the prestigious title around his waist, the current champion passes one of his favorite childhood Superstars.
