On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Jon Moxley lost the AEW International Championship to Rey Fenix.

There was a major botch towards the end of the match, when Moxley didn’t kick out and the referee counted to 3. However, the referee still acted like Moxley’s shoulder was up.

This led to Fenix hitting his finisher on Moxley again and then picking up the win.

Moxley was dropped on his head both these times and fans in the front row were visibly disappointed by the botched 3 count.

You can watch it below:

According to PWInsider, Moxley was checked by doctors for a long time before he sat up and walked out.

Word going on backstage is that Moxley suffered a concussion.
