• After their losses at SummerSlam, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley are out of The Judgment Day. The new version of The Judgment Day consists of World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor & JD McDonagh, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio and Carlito.
On the road to SummerSlam, Gunther called Priest and Judgement Day “Street Trash”, and it looks like that could be this faction’s new name.

“Plans are in motion to rebrand the ‘new’ Judgment Day. Sources say the group’s essence will stay the same, but a name change is likely. The leading candidate is an out-of-the-box, yet bold idea: ‘Street Trash’.”

• The path to CM Punk’s WWE return began while he was still with AEW when he made a brief visit backstage before the April 24, 2023 episode of RAW. Although he was eventually asked to leave, Punk had a chance to talk with several WWE stars, including The Miz, with whom he had a brief conversation where they made amends.
Punk also interacted with Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin, Tamina, and Triple H, and his departure from the event was smooth.
During an interview on the ‘Unlikely’ podcast, The Miz was asked if the reports of Punk apologizing to him at this event are true or not. Here’s what The Miz said:
“Yeah, it was in Chicago. I was just walking down the stairs and he was just standing there and we locked eyes. Well, remember, he left a long time ago and has never been back, right? And it always felt like it was a never going to happen type of thing.
And to see him backstage I was like what? And so we ended up having a really good conversation, and it was one of those moments where just two guys talking and we kind of just buried the hatchet I guess you could say.”
