On this day in 2011, we lost Old School Wrestling Veteran “Big” Val Puccio (Real name: Valentino Puccio) at the age of 45 due to obesity.

Puccio also used to wrestle for the World Wrestling Federation during the early 90s, but only appeared on House Shows and never on TV.

A lot of 90s wrestling fans remember him for his 1995 stint in Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling, where Val was a member of The Full Blooded Italians, short “FBI”.

• Kaitlyn Reveals Vince McMahon’s Reaction When She Botched & Accidentally Won A #1 Contenders Match

During a recent interview with Ring The Belle, former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn (aka Celeste Bonin) recalled a moment where she accidentally won a match.

The original plan was for Eve Torres to win a #1 contenders Battle Royal in August 2012, but Kaitlyn ended up clotheslining Eve with a lot of force and Eve ended up falling out of the ring and getting eliminated, and Kaitlyn accidentally won the match.

Layla was the WWE Divas Champion at the time and she was left shocked at ringside with this result.

Kaitlyn had the following to say about this:

“I legit thought that when I walked back through the curtain that I was going to be fired. That was right on the cusp of the Divas getting more opportunities, so I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’ve f***ed everything up.’ I walked back and Vince [McMahon] is laughing hysterically. I was like, ‘Is it an evil laugh, or…?!’

There were a lot of people who thought I didn’t deserve it because I was still so new, I hadn’t proved myself, but there were also a lot of people that were like, ‘Congratulations, this is your opportunity. Take it.’”
