On this day in 2000, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Sunday Night HEAT’.
It was taped at the Orlando Arena in Orlando, Florida and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 2000’ PPV.

• Kane Reveals His Biggest Regret About Unmasking
Former WWF Champion Kane will be the next guest on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions on the WWE Network.
WWE released a promo for this interview titled “Kane’s biggest regret about unmasking”.
Kane talked about how he surprised his wife by cutting his long hair.
Below is what Kane said:
“I actually was a little nervous, though, because I hadn’t told my wife about this, and my wife loved my long hair, and I wanted her to see it and be shocked just like everybody else, and she was. So, when I talked to her after the match, that didn’t go very well.”
Kane also talked about how he only got half his head shaved for his unmasking look, and regrets not going all the way as he would have to go to public places with this new look now:
“And they get about halfway through, and Bruce [Prichard] goes ‘Stop! I need to show Vince,’ I should have said right then keep going, and of course in the heat of the moment I’m like oh yeah, this is going to be awesome, and then yeah, I’m sitting there like, wait a second, I got to go to like…Outback, with this, I got to pick my kids up at school.”
