On this day in 2006, we lost Old School WCW Veteran “Hail” Emory Hale at the young age of 36 due to kidney problems.
He was managed by Jimmy “Mouth of the South” Hart in WCW, but unfortunately never made it past lower mid-card level.

“Congratulations are in order for Chad Gable: WWE.com has learned the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion and his wife have welcomed their second daughter into the world. Meadow Ann arrived on Jan. 24 at 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

• Kane’s Role For Tonight’s Royal Rumble 2018 PPV
Tonight at Royal Rumble 2018 PPV, former WWF Champion Kane will get a shot at becoming a World Champion once again, when he faces Brock Lesnar & Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat match for the Universal Championship.
Despite some people backstage in WWE wanting Strowman to win this match, current plan remains for Lesnar to retain the Title and head into WrestleMania 34 as the Universal Champion.
The finish of the match is expected to be Lesnar pinning Kane after hitting an F5 (thus protecting Strowman).
