• Karrion Kross Reveals What Happened When He Reached Out To Cody Rhodes About Joining AEW
Karrion Kross was released from WWE in 2021 after a short, underwhelming run on the main roster. He then wrestled on the independent circuit. It seems he was close to joining AEW before making his WWE return.
During an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Karrion was asked if he had spoken to Cody Rhodes about joining All Elite Wrestling. He confirmed that they had been in contact. However, those discussions “organically fell off,” as Kross described it.
While he was still talking with Cody Rhodes, Triple H called him. Kross said this immediately made him change his plans.
“The communication just organically fell off with Cody and me at the time, and in the process of communicating with him when he was there, Hunter had called me and I was like, ‘We’re turning right, we’re going next lane, boom,'” Karrion stated.
Karrion Kross returned to WWE in 2022 and quickly began a rivalry with Drew McIntyre. Nearly three years after his return, Kross has found success and is now popular with fans again, while performing on the main roster.
• Reason Behind WrestleMania 42 Location Being Changed
Andrew Baydala reported the following about WrestleMania 42 no longer taking place in New Orleans:
“New Orleans’s decision not to host WrestleMania is not solely a decision made by WWE.
The decision could very well be influenced by infrastructure issues involving the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and New Orleans & Company. These issues may include various factors such as funding, security, facilities, and more.
It seems this information was known internally but not made public, which is the status quo. The event in New Orleans has been moved due to a new significant bid and other significant issues.”
