On a recent episode of his weekly ‘Kliq This’ podcast, Old School WWF Legend Kevin Nash called out SmackDown Superstar LA Knight for ripping off The Rock.

Here’s what ‘Big Daddy Cool’ Diesel had to say:

“Am I the only one that sees an absolute rip-off of The Rock to the point when he cut the promo on f**king Logan Paul or whatever the f**k his name is.

The only thing he didn’t do is turn the motherf**ker sideways.

Jesus Christ, does everybody have amnesia? There’s nothing original.”

LA Knight wrestles professionally since 2003 and was best known for his 2015-2019 run with IMPACT Wrestling as Eli Drake, before he joined WWE in February 2021.

A lot of experts see him as a future World Champion and possibly even the #1 babyface of the company at some point.

He was the favorite to win the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match this past Saturday, but ended up losing.

During the post-show press conference, Triple H said great things come to those who wait and LA Knight’s rise is just starting.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE didn’t book Knight to win last night because they currently haven’t decided when they could put a World Title on Knight, as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is a long-term champion and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will have other top challengers lined up, like Cody Rhodes, Gunther & Drew McIntyre:

“Fans think that they’re never getting it, but that isn’t the case here, it’s like ‘if we give him the briefcase, then he’s getting a title shot, but when are we putting the title on him?’ and the answer is never, it’s probably not a good thing to give it to him.”

WWE didn’t want to hurt LA’s momentum in the case that they’re forced to book an unsuccessful Money In The Bank cash-in.
