In the main event of last night’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Rhodes hit Owens with a Cross Rhodes on a Steel Chair, that Owens introduced in the match, for the win.

After the show went off the air, Owens attacked Rhodes and hit a Package Piledriver. Cody was then taken out on a stretcher.

As Owens was posing with the Winged Eagle Championship, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H confronted him and things got physical, with both men pushing each other.

WWE posted a video of Owens attacked Rhodes and wrote:

“EXCLUSIVE: After narrowly losing to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens brutalizes The American Nightmare with a Piledriver just moments after Saturday Night’s Main Event goes off the air.”

Kevin mocked WWE’s tweet with his own version:

“*EXCLUSIVE: After getting screwed out of becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion by incompetent referees, Kevin Owens justifiably gets retribution on The American Person with an often imitated, never truly duplicated, PACKAGE PILEDRIVER just moments after Saturday Night’s Main Event goes off the air to send everyone home happy.”

WWE later posted a video of HHH confronting KO and wrote:

“Upon leaving gorilla, Triple H got into a confrontation with Kevin Owens.”

Owens corrected this tweet as well:

“*Upon leaving gorilla, Triple H enthusiastically thanks Kevin Owens for the house and tells him how proud he is of Kevin for doing what needed to be done and taking what he truly deserves and proceeds to invite him over to his house for Christmas dinner and to watch #SNME back on a 734 inch tv.”

The former Universal Champion then noted that the Winged Eagle Title is his:
