• Kevin Owens Reacts To Chris Jericho Mentioning Him On AEW Dynamite
On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho talked about his new heel stable in All Elite Wrestling – Jericho Appreciation Society.
Jeff Parker and Matt Lee, together known as 2.0 (fka EverRise in WWE), are a part of this stable.
During his promo, Jericho revealed that Kevin Owens asked Jericho to help 2.0 when they got released from WWE.
Below is what Y2J said:
“Why do they appreciate me? A year ago, I got a call from my former best friend Kevin, who said, ‘hey, I need some help for some buddies of mine who just got fired (by WWE). Can you please put them on Talk is Jericho so they can get a job?’
So I brought these two men into my house, even though I’d never met them before.
At the end of that podcast, I realized these guys have passion and desire. AEW hired them. That’s why they appreciate me.”
After hearing what Jericho had to say, Owens tweeted the following:
“I’m a good friend.”
