Kurt Angle Explains Why Jason Jordan Was Chosen To Be His Kayfabe Son, Not Chad Gable

As we all know, former SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan was revealed as the kayfabe son of Raw General Manager Kurt Angle a few months ago. During an interview with Fox Sports Australia, Angle revealed why Jason was chosen for this storyline and not his former tag team parter, Chad Gable:

“Gable reminds a lot of people of me. They’re both great talents, and the one who needed a bit more help and a bit of a rub was Jason. He is a little timid…but in the ring, he’s an animal.

The entertainment factor – he might need a little more help. I think they made the right call because they both are going to be huge stars.”

Jim Ross Comments On If WWE Should Alter Roman Reigns’ Push

During a recent interview with Pop Culture, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross was asked if WWE should alter Roman Reigns’ mega push as the new “Face of WWE”. Below is what Good Ol’ JR said:

“Well, I think you just got to continue to allow him to be pretty good. You know, whenever the time is opportune. He is better than pretty good and a good kid, real good kid. Very committed.

There’s nothing you say on TV, there’s no pillow vignettes, let’s change his music, let’s change his hair color, let’s change his outfit. You know, let’s change for change’s sake. Let’s change not knowing the selection, but just change for change sake.

Because well, it might work. It might not. Steer the course and not be so wrapped up in getting him accepted as a fan favorite or a villain. I accept him as a star. And that’s what Roman Reigns is, he’s a star.”
