6. More Details On Alberto Del Rio’s Real Life Backstage Fight Over Paige
As we noted before, former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio was involved in a real life backstage fight over Paige about a week back.
Fredo Esparza of Lucha World talked to Tortuga Ninja Rafy (the man involved in the fight with Del Rio) to tell his side of the story:
“Tortuga Ninja Rafy said he was coming downstairs from the office and bumped into Paige & let her pass him by first. Tortuga Ninja Rafy said the mistake he made was that he said “pass by beautiful” to Paige when letting her pass him. Did not touch her. Alberto asked Tortuga Ninja Rafy who he was calling “beautiful” & said it was disrespectful.
Rafy said he wasn’t disrespecting her. Alberto pulled off Tortuga Ninja Rafy’s mask which he said he then ran over to the locker room to cover up & that’s were fight ensued. Tortuga Ninja Rafy said he read that people said his face was destroyed or he was KO’ed, but that was not true.
Tortuga Ninja Rafy said that Alberto was calmed down while the fight broke up. He then apologized to Rafy for misunderstanding. Tortuga Ninja Rafy then apologized to Alberto & Paige because he felt perhaps calling her “beautiful” was taken to be disrespectful. Tortuga Ninja Rafy said that the term he used was something a gentleman would say, but maybe its not used in this modern age.
Tortuga Ninja Rafy wants to clear up that he did not touch Paige. Paige told Alberto that she was not touched by the turtle. Paige told Alberto & Rafy that it was a misunderstanding. Tortuga Ninja Rafy said that all was cleared up between himself, Alberto & Paige. Simple misunderstanding that social media made a big deal.
Tortuga Ninja Rafy said he was not “nearly killed” by Alberto. Laughed that his name made it onto a national paper in Mexico. Tortuga Ninja Rafy did get hit more by Alberto & admits Alberto won that fight. Rafy said sometimes you win/lose fights. Paige is good-looking & Alberto’s got a temper, so maybe for your safety don’t look/talk/open doors for Paige.”
