Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving LA Knight, The Rock and WrestleMania 40.
• In 2013, LA Knight was a part of a reality TV show on TNT called “The Hero”, which was hosted by The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson.
During an interview with Gorilla Position, Knight was asked about his relationship with The People’s Champion.
Here’s what The Mega Star said:
“I mean, relationship is probably overselling in a bit. I used to send emails back and forth with his manager like 10 years ago. But I haven’t talked to her or them in forever.
And then he came back in Denver I think just a few months ago and I think he was just coming in to walk right into the arena for his thing and we just kinda dapped it up whatever, ‘Hey, good to see you’ whatever and he was on his way in there. That was about it.
Then just this past Friday, he was walking by, I was sitting on one of the things and he stops and talks to me. We actually had like a little conversation. Nothing super in depth but it was just like, ‘Where are you living now? What’s going on? bla bla bla’ And mind you, when I met him in 2013 and I was on his show I was flat a$$ broke.
So, now, you know, we’re talking about things. I’m talking about, you know, ‘I love LA but I don’t think I can move back there so I’m staying put in Orlando right now. You know the taxes and all the pre…’ And he’s like, ‘talking like a rich man’. And I was like, ‘Yeah, things are a little different from when we last met’.”

• Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso is scheduled to take place at WrestleMania 40 and fans want The Usos’ father, Attitude Era Veteran Rikishi to be a part of this feud.
During an interview with “For The Love Of Wrestling”, Rikishi had the following to say about his possible return:
“I’ve been hearing that over the last 16 hours since I’ve been here signing for the Love of Wrestling fans. ‘Are you coming back?’ I go, ‘What are you talking about?’ ‘We need you to come back to settle this drama going on between your kids’.
I’m like, I don’t know. I really don’t know. Will it happen? Maybe. Can it happen? Of course. But is that what the fans want? Is that what The Bloodline wants? Is that what the WWE wants?
So in the meantime, I’m kind of on the sidelines. I’m just, I don’t want to say patiently waiting, but I’m on the side.
The family’s just kind of going divided, you know what I mean? There needs to be some type of law and order. Somebody needs to pull it down and say, ‘This is what it is.’ So I don’t know, we’ll see.”
