Below are the complete results from tonight’s SmackDown, featuring LA Knight.

– Randy Orton approached Triple H backstage to discuss an issue, then headed to the ring to address it publicly. Orton expressed frustration over not being able to face Kevin Owens at Crown Jewel, claiming that Owens was somehow off-limits. Since SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis informed him last week that the decision was out of his control, Orton accused Triple H of protecting Owens and called him to the ring. Triple H came out and responded, stating he didn’t want to address the matter in front of an audience but disagreed with Orton’s claim that he was shielding Owens. While Triple H confirmed that Orton wouldn’t be facing Owens at Crown Jewel, he clarified that his intention was actually to protect Orton, not Owens. Triple H explained that he’s known both men for a long time and pointed out that Owens, typically a lone wolf in the business who prioritizes money and success, had surprisingly trusted Orton and Cody Rhodes. Triple H then reminded Orton that he’s recently come back from an 18-month injury recovery. Orton clarified that he didn’t call down Paul Levesque or the COO of a multi-billion-dollar company—he wanted “The Game” to handle things. He insisted that if Triple H were in his position, he wouldn’t just let it go but would settle it in the ring. Randy again demanded a match against Owens at Crown Jewel, prompting Triple H to finally agree, but with a warning for Orton to stay on guard at all times.

– In a backstage segment, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax asked Candice LeRae to take out Naomi. Ms. Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton wanted this opportunity, but Nia informed her that Candice pinned Bayley last week, which is something Tiffany hasn’t done.

– Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes in Match #7 ended in a No Contest when Special Guest Referee LA Knight attacked both men and declared himself as the winner

Nick Aldis confronted Knight backstage and announced that Knight will now defend the United States Championship against both Andrade and Carmelo in a Triple Threat Match at Crown Jewel.

– Naomi def. Candice LeRae

Indi Hartwell interfered and sent Naomi head-first into the ring post when the referee wasn’t looking. However, Bayley ran out and took out Indi. Naomi took advantage of a distracted Candice and pinned her.

– WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came out and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther interrupted his entrance. Gunther asked Rhodes what he wants to talk about, to which Rhodes replied that it should be fairly obvious. Gunther said he’d like to discuss Rhodes first, mentioning it was unnecessary for Rhodes to bring up his daughter last week since their Champion vs. Champion match at Crown Jewel is purely about determining the first Crown Jewel Champion. Gunther said that, unlike Rhodes, who claims family as his motivation, he does everything for himself.

A fired-up Rhodes countered, acknowledging his family’s drama, then asked Gunther where he was yesterday. Rhodes revealed he was in Las Vegas promoting WrestleMania 41 while Gunther was at home resting. Rhodes accused Gunther of lacking the responsibility that should come with the World Heavyweight Championship.

Gunther defensively retorted that he declines media requests because he has the courage to say no, suggesting Rhodes is a gutless champion and will always be secondary to him. Rhodes challenged Gunther’s title as “The Ring General,” claiming he leads no one but himself.

Rhodes then attacked Gunther, but Ludwig Kaiser appeared and assaulted Rhodes, leading to Gunther and Kaiser teaming up against him until Randy Orton ran down to level the playing field.

Orton then picked up the WWE Title and gave it to Rhodes. WWE once again focused the camera on Orton picking up the Title, thus teasing a future feud with Cody.

– Adam Pearce, Nick Aldis & Ava (The Rock’s daughter) announced that Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Damage CTRL (IYO SKY & Kairi Sane), Chelsea Green & Piper Niven, and Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson in a Fatal 4-Way Match at Crown Jewel.

– Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) def. #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) to become the #1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship

The Bloodline came out after the match. Solo Sikoa introduced himself to MCMG. MCMG did the same and said they are ready to beat The Bloodline for the Titles anytime, anyplace. Solo said how about right now? MCMG accepted the challenge. Nick Aldis made the match official.

– Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) def. The Bloodline (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) (c) to win the WWE Tag Team Championship

Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns came out during the match and brawled with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Tama and Loa were about to use steel chairs when the referee was down, but Jey Uso showed up and laid them out.

Jey and Jimmy reunited and hugged, as Roman looked on from the stage.
