With WWE’s merger with UFC coming up next month, there have been rumors going around that the company will release some wrestlers in order to make budget cuts.

Lacey Evans could be one of those wrestlers as WWE hasn’t had any solid plans for her in more than a year and she rarely appears on television now.

As noted before, The Sassy Southern Belle changed her Twitter username to “LimitlessMacey”, which led to speculation about WWE releasing her. However, she had left “WWE Superstar” in her bio.

Later, she sent out a tweet in which she indicated that she was counting days for something.

Evans has now changed her bio on Twitter to add “Formerly Known As WWE Superstar Lacey Evans” in it. She has also done the same on her Instagram account.

She then shared a picture of herself on Instagram and captioned it:

“When the clock strikes 12, you will address me as Macey Estrella from here on out”

She also wrote the following on Twitter:

“🙏♥️thank you all!!!!”

It looks like Lacey Evans has left the WWE, after having a 7 year run (including NXT) in the company.

While she didn’t win any Championship in WWE, she did main event the Extreme Rules 2019 pay-per-view, where she teamed up with Baron Corbin to lose to Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch in a match for the Universal Championship and the RAW Women’s Championship.
