• Lars Sullivan’s New Name Reportedly Revealed

Lars Sullivan returned to WWE programming from a knee injury on the Draft edition of SmackDown after being out of action for a year.

Since the night Sullivan returned, Michael Cole and Corey Graves couldn’t stop emphasizing on his nickname, “The Freak”.

On last week’s SmackDown, Sullivan was referred to as “The Freak” 22 times on commentary in a 7 minutes, 30 seconds long segment.

Dave Meltzer noted this in the Wrestling Observer and mentioned that WWE does so when they’re planning to make a name transition.

This means that Sullivan’s name will just get longer, as he’ll then be known as “The Freak” Lars Sullivan.

This is similar to names like “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig.
