• “Last person I said that about was The Rock” – WWF Legend Praises Bron Breakker

On the latest episode of his weekly ‘Jim Cornette Experience’ podcast, NWA/WWF Legend Jim Cornette spoke about Rick Steiner’s son (Scott Steiner’s nephew) Bron Breakker, and how Bron could become the next top level talent like The Rock used to be during the WWF Attitude Era.

Here’s what Jim Cornette had to say about the current NXT 2.0 Main Eventer:

“I legitimately can’t believe this guy has had only five matches in front of people. I am not aware how he is as a person. They obviously feel like that he will be a player and they are pushing him already, and if he was dodgy as a person, they probably would not be.

I am not sure besides injury, what else could keep this guy from being one of the top talents in a company in 2 or 3 years? And last person I said that about was The Rock.”

A few months ago, before Bron Breakker’s TV debut, Booker T said the following about him:

“He’s a main roster guy already. Bron Breakker, young Steiner, he’s a main roster guy right now. He’s not a guy we have to look at and wonder if he’s going to be a star or not. I’m just saying that because I’ve been impressed just from the outset. Having rhythm is something that most of the time is natural.

When I look at this Breakker/Steiner kid, he can go. He doesn’t need to be packaged/repackaged, touched at all because you could tell he knows what he’s doing when he gets in the ring. That right there is second nature to him, it’s in his blood. I would just love to see that kid get the rocket put on him and send him to the moon.”

Bron Breakker’s real name is Bronson Rechsteiner and he almost went by the WWE name of Rex Steiner, before they changed his name at the last minute in what literally almost everyone considered a bad move.

Bron was born on October 24, 1997, while his father and his uncle were the WCW World Tag Team Champions after defeating The Oustiders for the Titles just 11 days earlier on WCW Monday NITRO.
