“Last thing I was able to tell my father was that I signed with WWE” – Cameron Grimes Sheds Tears After Release

SmackDown wrestler Cameron Grimes is the latest name to be released from WWE.

He posted a video message on X to announce his departure. Here’s what he said:

“This is Trevor Lee, also known as Cameron Grimes. I just got off the phone with WWE. Unfortunately, I have been released from my contract. Five years ago, the last thing I was able to tell my father was that I signed with WWE. I loved working here.

I wanna thank absolutely everybody who’s helped me. Even though you guys haven’t seen me in the past year, I’ve been trying my best to learn from everybody that would just sit and listen.

If you’re a fan of mine, I’m letting you know there’s a fire lit under my a$$, man. All I want to do is work. This is all I got, man. But hey, the good news is, there ain’t gonna be no stopping Trevor Lee, baby. I love you guys, I love you. We’re gonna figure this out.

This isn’t what I wanted to do at all. WWE is all I’ve ever wanted to do, but if I have to go somewhere else to show them that they missed out, I guess that’s what I gotta do.”
