• Latest Update On John Cena’s WWE & WrestleMania 39 Status

As we all know, 16-time World Champion John Cena will return to WWE programming on the December 30th episode of SmackDown.

He will team up with Kevin Owens to take on The Bloodline’s Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

With this match, Cena’s streak of having at least one match in WWE every year since 2002 will remain intact.

There was some speculation going on that Cena might not be able to work WrestleMania 39, as he will be filming a movie in Australia in February & March, so he might not be available to prepare or be involved in the build-up for his match.

However, despite his busy schedule, Cena is expected to make himself available in time for WrestleMania Hollywood.

Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported:

“The belief is that Cena will be working WrestleMania, but what we were told is that he’s working on his schedule to make sure it works, but the belief is that he’ll get it done.

Cena will be unavailable to WWE through most of February and March due to filming a movie outside the US.”
