• During an interview with WFAN, Michael Cole (who will turn 56 in December) revealed that he has signed a new long-term deal with WWE, and that he will return to RAW on Netflix in January.

Here’s what the legendary commentator said about his future:

“I still feel like I have a lot left in me. I just signed a long-term deal with the company, I’ll be doing this for a few more years. I’ll be back on Netflix doing Monday Night RAW in January.”

Cole also revealed why he missed Friday’s SmackDown:

“I’m taking a vacation, it’s the first one I’ve taken in a long while. It’s been pretty incredible to miss 3 or 4 television shows in 27 years.

I’m actually leaving tomorrow for Cozumel, Mexico, for a 10-day family vacation with the entire family and grandkids.”

It’s safe to say that Cole definitely earned this time off!
