Lex Luger WrestleMania

Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring WrestleMania 41 and The New Bloodline.

• Lex Luger Reveals Why He Didn’t Appear At WrestleMania 41

Lex Luger was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame late on Friday night, where he stood up to give his entire speech.

However, he didn’t appear at WrestleMania 41 Saturday, when the 2025 Hall of Fame class had their moment on stage.

During an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Luger revealed why he missed WrestleMania 41:

“It’s wild how that stuff catches fire. With everything that happened, by Saturday morning, I could barely get out of bed. I called the guys, and they were really cool about it. They said, ‘We’d love to have you down here — let’s see how you feel later in the day.’ But by the afternoon, it was clear I wasn’t going to make it.”

Diamond Dallas Page said that Hall of Fame was a long night and Luger was still adjusting from East Coast time, which left Luger physically incapable to attend.

• Another Member Of The New Bloodline Gets Injured

Another member of Solo Sikoa’s New Bloodline is reportedly out with an injury, further thinning the ranks of the faction.

According to PWN, Tama Tonga has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury and may require surgery. His most recent appearance was on the April 18 episode of SmackDown aka WrestleMania SmackDown, where LA Knight slammed his hand in a car door — a segment that was reportedly designed to write him off television while he recovers.

At this time, there is no confirmed timetable for Tonga’s return.

This setback adds to the group’s challenges, as Tama’s brother and tag team partner, Tonga Loa, has also been out of action. Loa was injured during the WarGames main event at WWE Survivor Series 2024 and has not returned since.
