Linda Hogan recently had an emotional breakdown, which she filmed and posted on Instagram, and blamed her ex-husband, Hulk Hogan, on their family’s current mess. Linda claimed Hulk is a “liar” and a “$ex addict,” and had a fight with their daughter Brooke, which led to Brooke cutting both of them out of her life.
Brooke later issued a statement, where she noted that she was “EXTREMELY verbally, mentally and physically abused since childhood,” which resulted in her ending her relationship with both Hulk and Linda.
After this, Linda went on to claim to it was Brooke who assaulted her, not the other way around:
“She was so drunk she broke my collarbone and cut my lip and insisted everyone take her to the hospital because she was poisoned and she wasn’t. She was just drunk.”
Now, Linda has taken Hulk’s side in this battle of words with Brooke.
Linda spoke to TMZ about her daughter Brooke’s decision to cut off the family, calling it “bogus, selfish, childish” and warning it will prevent Brooke’s twins from knowing their grandfather, Hulk Hogan, who’s the biggest star in the history of professional wrestling.
She expressed sadness over missing out on being a grandmother but hopes the kids learn of Hulk’s stardom. She admitted Hulk was “a sh*tty husband sometimes” due to his alleged infidelity but praised him as “always a good father” who spent over $3 million on Brooke’s career without hesitation.
Linda described Hulk as a “fantastic person” who supported the family generously, despite their failed marriage.
She called Brooke’s actions “unprecedented, unexpected and unfair,” noting that Hulk, herself, and son Nick are deeply saddened by the estrangement.
Linda speculated Brooke is distancing herself to hide a “party girl past” and reinvent herself. While wishing Brooke well, Linda said the damage from Brooke’s actions—getting married, having twins, and not informing the family—is irreparable, leaving a “path of destruction”.
