2. Sami Zayn
Former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since defeating Daniel Bryan to retain his Title on Night 1 of WrestleMania 36.
Zayn had his wisdom teeth pulled out, which is one reason why he hasn’t been on TV. But the main reason is that he isn’t working WWE events due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Zayn was a part of the script for SmackDown over the past couple of weeks, but he decided not to travel to Orlando, Florida.
As we noted earlier, WWE isn’t forcing any wrestler to work shows during the pandemic. Zayn, like many others, might not be on TV for a while as well.
However, Zayn deciding to stay at home resulted in WWE stripping him of the Intercontinental Title.
