• List Of WWE’s Banned Words For WrestleMania Partners

In 2020, official promotional partners for the WrestleMania 36 pay-per-view received an interesting list of banned terms by the WWE.

This list has leaked online, courtesy of Fightful Select, and while it contains a lot of well known banned words within the WWE, like “Diva” or “kayfabe”, it also contains some surprising terms like “strangle” and “needs a push”.

Added to the above mentioned list were some guidelines like using less hashtags on Facebook, being sensitive about the used language, calling professional wrestling “Sports Entertainment” and calling the wrestlers “Superstars”.

Here’s the exclusive list of banned terms for last year’s WrestleMania:

– Murder

– Kill

– Choke

– Strap

– Head shot

– Trauma

– Mofos

– The Anti-Diva

– Spinal injuries

– Victim

– Wifebeater

– Curb Stomp

– Needs a push

– To be over

– To job/jobber

– Card

– Strangle

• Old School Wrestling Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School ECW/WCW/WWF/WWE Veteran Lance Storm (Real name: Lance Evers) celebrates his 52nd birthday today.

Lance Storm & Chris Jericho were known as The Thrillseekers in Jim Cornette’s Smoky Mountain Wrestling during the mid-90s, before Storm went to Europe & Japan and eventually ended up in Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling, where he had a successful run from 1997 till he left for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in 2000.

He went on to become the leader of Team Canada in WCW and later joined the World Wrestling Federation as part of the infamous WCW/ECW Invasion storyline.
