Below are some top news stories of the day, involving Liv Morgan and Tyler Bate.
• Liv Morgan’s remarkable streak of Royal Rumble match appearances will end in 2025.
Morgan has competed in every Women’s Royal Rumble match since the very first one in 2018, making six consecutive appearances. Next year, however, her position as the Women’s World Champion on RAW means she won’t compete in the 30-woman match.
Morgan confirmed the news on The Pat McAfee Show, saying, “I’m not going to enter the Royal Rumble this year because I’m going to walk in as the Women’s World Champion,” marking the end of her run. “I’ve been in every single one, too. So, I’m actually going to miss this one.”
While she won’t be participating in the Royal Rumble match, which determines a contender for WrestleMania 41, she may still play a big role on the event’s card. Reflecting on her journey and WrestleMania’s implications, Morgan added with a playful tone:
“If they choose me. I don’t think they would because it’s not very smart to choose me. Have you been watching, Pat? Raquel, Judgment Day, Daddy Dom… I don’t know who’s going to want to take their chance against me.”

Bate suffered a torn left pectoral muscle and tendon earlier this year. He promptly underwent surgery and has since been focused on healing.
Recently, the former NXT UK Champion shared a photo on Instagram, showing him reading a book and posing for the camera. Notably, he debuted a fresh look with short hair and a clean-shaven face, a departure from his previous long hair & bearded style. He captioned the post, “Once upon a time…”.

Reports indicate that Bate is unlikely to return to the ring until 2025 due to the severity of his injury.
