John Cena’s final WWE match is scheduled to take place this December in his hometown of Boston, according to a report from WCVB. The match will be held at the TD Garden, though an exact date has not yet been announced.
Cena is currently the Undisputed WWE Champion and successfully defended the title against Randy Orton at Backlash.
As of now, Cena has 24 appearances left in 2025. Below are his upcoming advertised appearances:

• Date For John Cena vs. R-Truth
As seen in the main event of Backlash 2025, John Cena defeated Randy Orton to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
During the ending moments of the match, Cena was laid out in the corner and Orton was looking to hit the Punt Kick, but R-Truth ran in and begged Orton to not do it. Orton RKOed Truth and Cena low-blowed Orton. Cena hit Orton with the Title and pinned him.
During the post-show press conference, Cena hit R-Truth with the Attitude Adjustment through the table after Truth said Cena can’t wrestle.

According to PWN, John Cena vs. R-Truth will take place on Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24. WWE confirmed Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul for the World Heavyweight Championship for this event as well.
