• Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium competed in the Men’s Royal Rumble 2024 match and made history by becoming the first German wrestler ever to compete in the Rumble.

Here’s what he said during an interview with Denise Salcedo:

“Wrote history for myself. I actually got to write history as I was the very first German ever in the Royal Rumble, which is an amazing privilege and honor for me.”

Kaiser lasted in the match for 10 minutes. He didn’t eliminate anyone and was eliminated by Kofi Kingston of The New Day.

• According to the Wrestling Observer, the following title matches are planned for WrestleMania 40:

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. CM Punk

Women’s World Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch

WWE Women’s Championship Match: IYO SKY (c) vs. Bayley

Rollins vs. Punk is expected to main event Night 1, while Reigns vs. Rhodes II is expected to main event Night 2.

• Vince McMahon resigned from his positions in TKO Group Holdings after the latest allegations against him.

Now, TKO has made it official by issuing the following statement to the US Securities and Exchange Commission:

“On January 26, 2024, Vincent K. McMahon notified the board of directors (the ‘Board’) of TKO Group Holdings, Inc. (‘TKO’) of his resignation from his positions as Executive Chair and a member of the Board, and any other positions, employment or otherwise, he has at TKO and its subsidiaries, in each case, with immediate effect as of January 26, 2024.”
