On this day in Pro Wrestling history on March 19, 1995, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Uncensored 1995’ LIVE on PPV from the Tupelo Coliseum in Tupelo, Mississippi.

This was the 1st ever annual ‘WCW Uncensored’ event out of 6 that aired on pay-per-view between 1995 and 2000.

• Main Event For Night 1 Of WrestleMania 36 Revealed

As we noted last night, WWE announced that WrestleMania 36 will now be a two night event.

Below is the announcement:

WrestleMania too big for just one night: Unprecedented two-night WrestleMania to be hosted by Rob Gronkowski on WWE Network

“WrestleMania 36 is now set for a historic two-night presentation on WWE Network with former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski hosting The Show of Shows at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5.

The 2020 edition of The Showcase of the Immortals will make history as the first to span across multiple days.

WrestleMania will not only take place at WWE’s training facility but will include multiple locations over two nights.

Titles and legacies are on the line as WrestleMania 36 features a loaded slate of matches. Royal Rumble Match winner Drew McIntyre challenges WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, Universal Champion Goldberg defends his title against Roman Reigns, and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch looks to fight off the rise of Shayna Baszler. Also, 16-time World Champion John Cena returns to battle “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, AJ Styles hopes to put the “final nail in the coffin” of The Undertaker’s career and much more.

Gronkowski revealed the new format and his role as host on his Twitter earlier today. The three-time Super Bowl champion also promised more details when he appears on SmackDown this Friday on FOX at 8/7 C.”

“The Big Dog” Roman Reigns revealed on Twitter that he’s going to main event of the nights with Universal Champion Goldberg. Below is what Reigns posted on Twitter:

“Two nights of WrestleMania. WWE’s biggest event just got BIGGER. One of those nights belongs to the #BigDog… Who will claim the other?

Guess we’ll see. #MainEvent”

This is going to be Reigns’ 5th WrestleMania main event (if this can truly be considered a proper WrestleMania main event).
