• Major Change In Baron Corbin’s Storyline Coming
SmackDown Superstar Baron Corbin has been playing his “poor” gimmick for a while now, but it looks like things are going to change for him on TV soon.
WWE filmed a lot of content with Corbin in Las Vegas and a major twist is expected in his storyline on this week’s SmackDown.
Here’s what PWInsider is reporting about it:
“We are told the Baron Corbin Las Vegas deal will be a WWE social media storyline that will play out all week before SmackDown, at which point there will be some sort of story twist.
WWE apparently filmed a lot of content with Corbin in Vegas over the weekend. As we reported last night, there were plans at one point to film content with illusionist Criss Angel in Vegas, but no word as to whether it was part of this.”

Corbin lost to Mr. Money In The Bank Big E on the SummerSlam 2021 Kickoff Show this past Saturday night.

• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 77th birthday of Old School WWF Legend “Soul Man” Rocky Johnson.
Rocky Johnson wrestled for many different territories from his debut in 1964 until his retirement in 1991, but was most famous for his 1982-1985 run with the World Wrestling Federation, where he and Tony Atlas became the first black Tag Team to win a major World Tag Team Championship.
He was the father of fellow WWF Legend & currently the #1 actor in Hollywood, “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson, as well as the son-in-law of fellow WWE Hall of Famer “High Chief” Peter Maivia.
In 2008, both Rocky Johnson and his father-in-law were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by The Rock.
