– According to Fightful Select, AEW and Warner Bros Discovery are having discussions regarding their TV Deal extension. AEW originally signed with WBD in 2019.
If they reach a new deal, then an announced is expected to be made this Summer or Fall.
WBD Officials are reportedly happy with AEW’s flexibility with adding & subtracting shows, working around preemptions and other network requests.
The broadcast of next month’s All In 2023 pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium is also being discussed by the two sides.
WBD Officials have also told Tony Khan that they’d be interested in AEW increasing the numbers of pay-per-views they do, and would like a PPV every month (just like WWE). This would likely mean that WBD wants AEW’s PPVs on their streaming service.
From the way things are looking right now, AEW is expected to make way more money in their new deal with WBD.

Monday’s RAW drew 1.83 million viewers with a 0.49 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is down from previous week’s 1.97 million viewers with a 0.61 rating.
Tuesday’s NXT drew 508,000 viewers with a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is down from previous week’s 622,000 viewers with a 0.17 rating.
Wednesday’s Dynamite drew 855,000 viewers with a 0.29 rating, which is up from previous week’s 809,000 viewers with a 0.24 rating.
Friday’s SmackDown drew 2.56 million viewers with a 0.76 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is up from previous week’s 2.51 million viewers with a 0.69 rating.
Friday’s Rampage drew 368,000 viewers with a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is down from previous week’s 450,000 viewers with a 0.13 rating.
Saturday’s Collision drew 580,000 viewers with a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is up from previous week’s 452,000 viewers with a 0.13 rating.
