7. GFW Wanted To Re-Unite The Commentary Team Of Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler? Finn Balor On Why The Bullet Club Shouldn’t Reform In WWE Right Now

GFW Wanted To Re-Unite The Commentary Team Of Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler?

During a recent edition of “Dinner With The King” podcast, Jerry “The King” Lawler talked about getting a call from Jeff Jarrett regarding the possibility of signing with GFW (TNA). Below is what Lawler said during the podcast:

“I did get a call from Jeff Jarrett just saying, ‘Hey, we were just wondering if you re-signed with the WWE or not?’ It was one of those things that I got right back to him and said I did re-sign with them. Without a doubt, I’m sure that’s what was in their minds (re-uniting the legendary commentary duo of Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler) and it was possibly in the mind of JR’s as well.”

Finn Balor On Why The Bullet Club Shouldn’t Reform In WWE Right Now

During a recent appearance on Sports Illustrated Now, former Universal Champion Finn Balor talked about the possibility of the reformation of the Bullet Club in WWE, Kazuchika Okada possibly signing with WWE in the future & more. Below are the highlights:

On why the Bullet Club shouldn’t reform in WWE right now:

“You know, for us as a group, especially myself and Karl, you know, two of the original members, that was you know, very, it was very much like a moment in time. You know, to kind of like reform that now would be kind of like regressing like in our careers, maybe, so to speak. Maybe going forward in the future that could be a possibility but right now I think we’re both, you know, pretty happy doing our own thing.”

On if IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada will sign with WWE:

“I don’t know about anytime soon. Possibly, you know, in the distant future. I’m sure, you know, as you say, anything can happen. And nobody thought Finn Balor would be in the WWE. Here I am. True, Okada was backstage at Raw. He was backstage at SmackDown but it’s because he has a lot of friends there. Myself, Karl Anderson, Shinsuke Nakamura, I think he was just visiting friends so I wouldn’t read too much into that.”
