• Major Heel Turn Coming Soon On WWE RAW (Exclusive)

At last Sunday’s WWE TLC 2020 pay-per-view, Charlotte Flair returned from a 6 month long hiatus to team up with RAW Women’s Champion Asuka against Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to compete for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, which Flair and Asuka won.

The Queen and The Empress seem to be on the same page for now, but don’t expect them to be partners for too long because of the history between them.

As WWFOldSchool.com previously reported, WWE had been planning the return of Flair for a while, as they intend to do Flair vs. Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship at Royal Rumble 2021.

We reached out to a source to get an update on this angle, and we were told that the partnership of Flair and Asuka “is just a way to revive their feud from this past summer.”

The source further said that Flair will turn on Asuka by Royal Rumble, and they’ll obviously drop the Women’s Tag Team Championship because of it.

The current thinking backstage is that a top star like Flair should lead the Women’s division on the road to WrestleMania 37, which is why Flair is expected to take the RAW Women’s Championship off Asuka at Royal Rumble.

It’s pretty clear from Asuka’s booking as RAW Women’s Champion over the past 3 months that WWE doesn’t have any proper plans for her, as she’s only defended her Title twice since September. One of those defenses came against Zelina Vega at Clash Of Champions and the other came against Lana on the RAW before Hell In A Cell.
