• Major Name Invited To Saudi Arabia By The Prince Ahead Of WWE Crown Jewel 2022

WWE will return to Saudi Arabia on November 5th for their Crown Jewel 2022 premium live event.

The only match announced for this event right now is Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

According to Xero News, WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg has been invited to Saudi Arabia by The Prince, but for a different show:

“Goldberg will be in Saudi anyways for some car show happening on the same day as Crown Jewel.

The Crown Prince invited him. If he can make Crown Jewel, he will.”

Bill Goldberg lost to Roman Reigns in a Universal Championship match earlier this year in Saudi Arabia at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 premium live event.

That was Goldberg’s last match on his current WWE contract. Many fans thought Goldberg (who will turn 56 in December) is now retired from in-ring competition, but that’s not the case.

Goldberg appeared on this week’s WWE The Bump and said he will return, and also teased going after The Tribal Chief again for choking him out earlier this year.

Below is what the 2018 WWE Hall Of Famer said:

“I don’t have any matches left on my contract, but I know one way I can take care of it. I do need to give him a receipt for that little choke-out in Saudi Arabia. But I think that there are a number of Superstars that are capable of dethroning him, most definitely.

It’s got to be the right time, the right place and it has to be one-on-one. And that’s tough because nowadays with The Usos, he’s got a built-in bodyguard system working out pretty well for him.

I think Brock [Lesnar] has the opportunity to do it when he comes back, but like I said, I think there are a number of people on the card, on both shows, both programs, that have the potential to beat him. But it’s got to fall into place.

I mean, he’s very dominant, we’ve seen that over the past year or longer, and it’s going to take that special person to come out and dethrone him. I think, like I said, there are a couple of people that are more than capable of doing it.

It’s been a long road, no question about it. And to the fans, you mean everything to me; the young ones, the old ones, the in-between ones, the guys, the girls, the black, the white, the green. I don’t care who you are, I couldn’t be who I am without you and I will be forever grateful for the rest of my days.

And my days aren’t done yet. My days may be numbered, but my days are not over with yet. I’ve got a monstrous garage and gym being built that will be done in about a month, and if you think I’m not going to be living in there for the rest of my life, preparing for what’s next, you’re crazy.”
